The Adelaide DBC
Welcome to the website for the Adelaide Dungeon Bowl Cup
On this site you will find rules for playing dungeon bowl, tips and inspiration on making your own playing fields and information about the most unique Bloodbowl Tournament in Australia and much more.
Since 2010 the AFOUL league (part of Greenacres Gamers) has hosted this iconic annual tournament in Adelaide, South Australia. This off-the-wall event celebrates the wild fun of Bloodbowl by adding on extra rules for all sorts of crazy things that happen when you play sport in a mysterious and dangerous catacomb.
The development of this tournament has involved making new rules, creating special play cards, dozens of three dimensional playing fields and most memorable of all; the 3-tier Grand Dungeon that stands over 6 feet tall and takes up 6 times more squares than a normal bloodbowl field!
Now with a competitive sister tournament…
ADBC will be back for a 4th year in 2014 (March 15-16) and for the first time AFOUL is responding to demand for another ‘serious’ tournament in Adelaide. Now you’ll be able to give yourself over to the sheer craziness of dungeon bowl on the Saturday while also getting a chance to test your metal against the best players in SA and others from around Australia on the Sunday.
Adelaide Dungeon Bowl Cup is now a full weekend event, making it a great option for players from interstate.
Plus more than just Bloodbowl…
Fantasy football is just one part of the gaming passion of AFOUL’s wider gaming group, Greenacres Gamers. Adelaide Dungeon Bowl Cup provides an opportunity to run other gaming competitions and demonstrations too. The ADBC weekend will also feature:
- A Dreadball Tournament on Saturday night
- An X-Wing tournament on Sunday afternoon
- A Kings of War demonstration table
- A Deadzone demonstration table
We just love board games with miniatures and skirmish wargames, if you do too then you will definitely want to get involved in the Adelaide Dungeon Bowl Cup weekend.
